What is Waifu?
Waifu is an AI-powered character chat application where you can interact with virtual companions. You can chat with a variety of pre-made characters or create your own custom characters.
How do I create an account?
You can sign up using your email address. Simply open the app, enter your email, and verify with the code we send you. The process takes less than a minute.
Is Waifu free to use?
Yes! Waifu offers a free tier that includes daily Gems and access to all characters. Premium subscriptions (Waifu+ and Waifu Pro) unlock additional features and more Gems.
What platforms is Waifu available on?
Waifu is available on iOS (App Store), Android, and Web (waifu.weic.ai).
Gems & Premium
What are Gems?
Gems are the virtual currency in Waifu. They are consumed when you send messages to AI characters. Different AI models cost different amounts of Gems.
How do I get Gems?
There are several ways to earn or purchase Gems:
- Daily login reward: All users receive free Gems every day
- Premium subscription: Waifu+ and Pro members receive monthly Gem bonuses and higher daily rewards
- Purchase: Buy Gem packages directly in the app
What is Waifu+ / Waifu Pro?
These are our premium subscription tiers:
- Waifu+: Monthly Gem bonus, higher daily Gems, memory summary, enhanced memory, priority access, and early access to new features
- Waifu Pro: Everything in Waifu+, plus free access to AI models and even more Gems
Can I get a refund for Gems or subscriptions?
All purchases are processed through the App Store, Google Play, or Stripe. Refund policies are governed by the respective platform. Please contact the platform directly for refund requests.
Characters & Chat
How do I start chatting?
Browse the character gallery on the home page, tap on any character you like, and start chatting right away.
Can I create my own character?
Yes! Go to the Studio section to create custom characters. You can define their name, appearance, personality, background story, and more.
What AI models are available?
Waifu supports multiple AI models from various providers, each with different capabilities and Gem costs. You can switch models in the chat settings.
Can I reset a conversation?
Yes. You can reset the conversation history with any character to start fresh. This action cannot be undone.
What is Character Memory?
Characters can remember details from your conversations, such as your name, preferences, and previous topics. Premium users get enhanced memory features for more personalized interactions.
Privacy & Safety
Are my conversations private?
Yes. Your conversations are encrypted and stored securely. We do not share your conversation content with third parties.
What is the minimum age to use Waifu?
You must be at least 17 years old to use Waifu.
How can I report inappropriate content?
If you encounter any inappropriate content, please contact us at wei@weic.ai. We take content safety seriously and will review all reports promptly.
How do I delete my account?
You can request account deletion by visiting the Delete Account page or by contacting us at wei@weic.ai. Please refer to our Delete Account page for detailed instructions.
